PROTEGE SPORTS PROGRAM

Protégé Sports is a Sports Development program focusing primarily in volleyball, football and basketball and is run throughout the year. Targeting boys and girls, ages 10 to 18yrs, ItS aim is to develop and grow their natural athletic ability while building their character through life skills modules. It provides an arena for the youth to enjoy sports while receiving exemplary instructions and guidance from top rated local and international coaches.
Protégé Sports also hosts Elite Camps, where scouts have access to talented players with the aim of linking a lucky few to available scholarship opportunities abroad.

Protégé Sports Camps

April 2012 – Two sports disciplines Basketball & Soccer were covered. 5 coaches from different universities in the US graced the occasion with 4 boys and 2 girls being selected for possible scholarships in the US. The soccer camp was facilitated by Eliakim Kidinga and Stanley Achima.
May 2012 – Several Volleyball coaches attended a two day seminar held at Nyayo Stadium with the collaboration of the Kenya Volleyball federation. The seminar was led by Steve Hutcheson volleyball CAP III and High Performance Coach from USA. July 2012 – Volleyball camp for girls at Nyayo stadium - The Volleyball Clinic was attended by girls from the Karen-based National Youth Talent Academy, and State House Girls and various clubs. Led by Steve Hutcheson.
December 2011 – Protege Sports held a Volleyball Clinic with veteran volleyball coach, Coach Hutcheson. The Volleyball Clinic was held at World Hope Center from the 2nd to 3rd December 2011 and was attended by girls from the Karen-based National Youth Talent Academy, and State House Girls. Over the two day period, Coach Hutch shared his immense wealth of volleyball experience with the ladies and was greatly impressed with the raw talent exhibited by the players.
April 2010 – Protégé Sports held a basketball camp at the famous World Hope Centre. The camp was facilitated by Steffond Johnson, a former NBA player with Los Angeles Clippers.
